Allysian Sciences Review

Brain Food. That is essentially what Allysian Sciences is selling. A supplement that enhances cognitive abilities. A big statement!

Allysian Sciences launched in April 2015 so has been running long enough for me to take a decent look at whether the business opportunity is worth joining in this Allysian Sciences Review.

Let’s find out right away….

Summary

Product Name: Allysian Sciences

Website Url: http://www.allysian.com/

Cost: From $199 to $2999

My Rating: 3 out of 5

My Recommendation:  Allysian Sciences is a standard MLM business which asks you promote supplements or recruit people into your team to make money. What is Allysian Sciences About?

Allysian Sciences is an MLM business opportunity that focuses on 4 products only. Each of these products are designed to enhance the functionality and efficiency of your brain.

You can earn money in two ways:

  1. Recruiting people to join your ‘team’ and become part of the business opportunity. Take a look at the compensation plan below
  2. Selling the products and making a commission.

Who are the owners?

Allysian Sciences is headed up by Rod Jao and Apolo Ohno.

Rod previously has had success within Amway, which I am sure you have heard of, and Apolo seems to be there to be the customer facing representative as an 8 x olympic medalist who claims to have used these products to enhance his career (which is legitimate by they way as they are natural proucts). So there is a a track record here of some success within MLM.

The Allysian Sciences Products

In order to make a success of any MLM you need to have a good product. So are the Allysian Science products any good?

They are all based around natural ingredients and have been FDA tested. There are only 4 products and here they are.

Mastermind:

This is the flagship product, that contains botanical extracts and amino acids and actually 19 different ingredients. It helps to enhance cognitive function, memory, peripheral circulation, and relive stress. At $121.25 for 30 days supply

Genesis

74 different ingredients to optimize cellular function. This is a ll plant and vegetable based nutrients designed to purify, cleanse and renew your cells in your brain. The benefits range from anti-ageing, immune function, digestive / bowel health and athletic performance. Quite a range of functions then! $149.69 for 28

Sinless

This is a strange one. ‘Functional chocolate’ infused with the mastermind essentials where you are recommended to have 3 pieces a day. For this product they do state: ‘These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.’ $74.94 for 60 tablets

Smartkids

As the name suggests, this product is a chewable sweet for children which comes in a variety of flavours, and is essentially a chewable multivitamin in the form of a gummy.

How much does it cost to join?

There are 5 levels of membership to join

  • Basic Pack ($199) – You Earn $40 commission (When you recruit on this level).
  • Executive Pack ($499) – You earn $100 commission (When you recruit someone to this level).
  • Business Builder Pack ($999) – You earn $200 commission (When you recruit to this level).
  • Professional Pack ($2999) – You earn $600 commission (When you recruit to this level)

With your membership you do get multiple personalised websites which can help with recruitment and some training on how to use the systems and how best to recruit.

What is the compensation plan?

What is Allysian Sciences About? The Allysian Science compensation plan is based on a binary model.

This means that you recruit two below you, left and right, and any more that you recruit go into a spillover and fill any other gaps in the matrix.

You get paid on the leg which has the lesser earnings or referrals. This will be your ‘pay leg’.

For anyone that you recruit you will receive 20% commission on their sales

In addition, as with a lot of MLM plans, you will receive a matching bonus which is where you will earn 10% on anyone you personally sponsor all the way down to 5 levels deeps.

They have a number of other bonuses which if I wrote the detail about all of these out, then you would reading a novel. But here is a list of them to show you what they offer. If you are seriously interested in this business model, then you can find the compensation plan on their website

  1. Matching Bonus & Double Match
  2. Mentor Match
  3. Business Launch Bonus
  4. Redefine Your LifestyleTM Bonus
  5. Rank Advancement Bonus
  6. Elite EscapeTM
  7. Multiple Businesses

My Verdict

This program has been running for just over a year now. The website is very professional. They look the business.

And the product is fine, it’s not ground breaking and a lot of MLMs are in the health and wellness niche. Although measuring brain functionality improvement is hard to measure.  Selling supplements seems common place for MLMs and there are many companies already doing so, such as Herbalife or Forever Living. So we are not entering new territory. But the supplements are expensive. I think this make it a hard sell, so what you are left with is the recruitment. And if you have even been approached before, you know that recruiting into an MLM is a hard slog.

Personally I am not a fan of this method of making money. It works for some, but not for me. I think you have to be quite salesly sort of person to do well. It’s not for no reason that the fact stands that 95% of people that get into business with MLMs fail.

So my recommendation here is to think about the kind of person that you are, and how you would like to run your business. Do you want to hold parties and sell to family and friends?

What if this isn’t for you?

Perhaps you would prefer a business model where your customers come to you, where they are actively seeking your product, where do don’t have to push a hard sell on them.

If this sounds more up your street, try my no 1 recommendation for running a business online.

I hope you got everything you need from this Allysian Sciences Review. If you have any questions, please let me know below.

  1. Michel says:

The only problem with selling wellness products within MLM is the fact that the prices are very inflated so that the company can pay the downlines, as well as cover the cost of the product.

There are a lot of good products out there, but I am sure they would be a lot cheaper to buy if they weren’t tied up in MLM type companies.

    • Ruth says:

It’s true. You find that the world over with all supplement MLMs, and this makes it a hard sell. So people will always opt to find something else cheaper. There’s always amazon. So this is why they try to come up with revolutionary new products. But more often than not, this is just hype to justify the prices.

As you can tell I am not a huge fan of MLM.
