What is Countdown to Profits?

So you’ve watched the sales video and still have no idea about what is Countdown to Profits?

Countdown to Profits is a ‘system’ that offers you a selection of tools and training to enable you to make money online.

It offers information and training on how to set up websites with hosting and how to monetise them. You then use the ‘system’ which appears to be a selection of lead pages to help you promote affiliate products and the program ‘Countdown to Profits’ as well.

How does Countdown to Profits work?

First of all when you get to the landing page you have to enter some details.

This will CHECK the AVAILABILITY of the software. What are the chances that the software is available and that there are spaces left? – Hmm 100% I think.  Oh look, I got in, but I have to be quick, there are limited spaces. Please don’t fall for this. There are not limited spaces. This is just a scam to get you to move fast and to NOT do your due diligence, and be warned off.

countdown to profits Review

Ok so you are in, and you watch the video.

Before you can go any further and find out anymore you have to pay $97. A bit of all tall order, there is no free trial and no free look into the system which you can get with really good programs that teach you how to build your own online business.

There is a 30 day money back guarantee, so you if you are really intrigued then you could risk that, but let me tell you that often it is incredibly difficult to get your money back with programs such as these. Just a warning.

I have seen hundreds of programs like this, with over inflated promises of easy wealth. Literally hundreds and the same warning signs are all there too.

So is, countdown to profits any different. No

And here’s why:

The warning signs

  • The number of spaces left: As I mentioned above, these are NEVER true. There are never limited spaces. If you sign up with another email address, guess what, the same number of spaces appear. Don’t fall for these marketing tricks.
  • Testimonials:  You get a few testimonials via Facebook page but these can so easily be forged in photoshop. Take a look at this. This is the first Facebook review image, Barry Valentine, and look, in the image underneath it, where this man features elsewhere online. It’s the same for the rest of the fake testimonials. It’s just a stock photography shot.

Here are some other places we can find ‘Barry Valentine’

What is Countdown to profits

  • Income statements: Again, showing these means nothing. These can easily be forged, as with the fake testimonials and prove nothing.
  • Income disclaimer: As with any business like this, they claim that they don’t promise anything, there is no guarantees and this is in contradiction to the sales video.
  • The hype: Many programs like this make HUGE claims. Promise you the earth with no work. Do you REALLY believe that is possible? To be a millionaire with no effort? Really?
  • $500 back: They claim that you will get $500 back if you can’t make a go of it. The way this works is that they say that you didn’t follow the right process or you didn’t do things the right way, or you didn’t put in the right amount of work. It’s impossible to argue this, so this money back claim is pretty much useless.
  • They don’t tell you what the system is: They don’t tell you what you get and what you will have to do. They just tell you that you will make truck loads of cash. Hmm. I’m afraid I need more.
  • The upsells: They offer different levels of membership, Gold, Platinum and Platinum plus. For the basic Gold package at $97, you will get the basics. Web hosting and training on how to set up a website. If you want more, you will have to upgrade. This is pretty expensive and there are much better value training programs out there.  They are not upfront about this and is just another reason I put this program in my ‘Bad’ category

Is Countdown to Profits a scam?

Is Countdown to Profits a ScamTo my mind. Yes – Countdown to Profits is a scam.

Why? Because they tell you nothing. They offer you over-inflated promises of wealth with little work. Then they contradict themselves with the earnings disclaimer saying nothing is guaranteed.

And my biggest problem is that they don’t even tell you what the program is. What you will have to do. Why hide it? Why not give us a free look inside – why do you have pay first to see inside, when there are better online business programs out there in which you can check it out for FREE.

So my advice to you, is to stay away. Don’t be tempted, you will just lose money, and you certainly won’t make the kind of money they suggest.

If you are looking for a real way to make a full time income online, with no hype and no false promises, where you can check it out for free, I really recommend taking a look at this review. It’s my top rated training program.

Hi Ruth, great review and it’s so nice to see a comprehensive piece on just how important it is to give these types of “overnight success” sites a miss!

Promises of quick money for little to no effort, whilst sipping a cocktail on the beach – or even sleeping, is a con. Everyone should know by now that hard work is what brings success, and the harder you chase money, the deeper you’ll find yourself in the middle of nowhere!

Anyway, excellent review and I learned a lot as I do my own research into online careers!

    Thanks.

Great Summary Russell and I like the way you put it. Promises of quick money for little to no effort, whilst sipping a cocktail on the beach – or even sleeping, is a con. I have found that out myself first hand a few times, and its sad that this sales tactic works. Everyone wants the dream don’t they!

Thanks for your comments and good luck to you.
