Do Small Tasks Online – Make Money Easily

Do Small Tasks online make money easily

There must be a way to earn a few dollars here and there?

A way where these dollars add up.. something you can do that doesn’t require training and specific knowledge and something where you can start earning right away.

I have spent months and months trawling the internet and testing to see if I can find the best programs out there where you can earn the biggest bang for your time. And I am only going to suggest those where you can actually earn real money, I mean physical money, not those that you can earn rewards for, or gift vouchers.

There are millions of those. But you want hard cash, right?

We all know fitting in earning extra money into a daily schedule can be tiring. So if you can find a bit of work that you can pick up here and there and complete here and there without much concentration. And somewhere where you can work in front of the TV in the evening, and most importantly, something you can do at home.

The important thing to note is that you are not going to make a full time income doing this. There are much better ways to do this where you can build a successful online business. Go in with your eyes open and know it is about earning extra cash and you won’t be disappointed.

What sorts of things am I recommending?

The sites I am recommending for you to use include doing some of the following tasks. So if this is what you are looking for, then read on:

  • taking surveys,
  • visiting websites,
  • filling out a form,
  • sharing something on social media
  • providing your opinions
  • viewing a video
  • clicking a link
  • and many many more.

A couple of tips before you get started

  1. My first tip for all of these programs is if you haven’t got one, set yourself up with a new email address where everything you need to look at goes. Register with this address when you join the programs. This way your real email box won’t get clogged up with promotional messages and you can sign away for free without limits and watch the money build up.
  2. If you are looking at a few of these websites at a time, have each window open on a different tab. Before you start, you can assess what is there so that you can make the most of your time by working out which ones  you should prioritise first.
  3. Don’t pay to sign up to any of these things. I have done this with one or two in the past. SO not worth it!!

So here are the websites I recommend you join and get started with

If you are here, looking to build a serious online business,

then take a look at my number one recommendation

Find it here: (if you join here, you get $5 to start)

Swagbucks is one of the US best known sites for earning money while you do what you were going to do anyway on the internet.

You earn Swagbucks. Similar to inbox dollars you will earn swag backs by doing a variety of tasks. including surfing the web, surveys, playing games, watching videos and answering questions.

The rewards can turn into cash or gift cards, whatever you prefer and Swagbucks have some top partners out there such as amazon, walmart, you  get the like.

Some of the rewards are quite good so it’s worth playing around and seeing what sorts of tasks you like. And if you want to know the best way to work with swagbucks, check out this article where I show you how I made $400 quite easily.

Find it here:

There is a whole raft of things you can earn money for doing at this website and it’s quite fun. I like that it has variety as that makes the tasks more interesting. And rather than earning in gift voucers, who wants that, you can earn in real honest money. Yeah, we like that!

So what sorts of things can you do?

You can take surveys, sign up to offers, click on email links, play games, visit websites, fill in a form, redeem coupons, search the internet. They always have a lot going on. This is my first stop off.

And best of all you get $5 for just signing up. Please note this is only open to US, Canada and UK (as InboxPounds – they will show you where to go)

If you want to know more, have a look at my review of this Inbox dollars.

Fushion cash

Find it here:

Fushion cash is similar again to the Inboxdollars. But the payouts are a little higher. Like Inboxdollars you get $5 to sign up. You might have to sign up for a few things, but this is what your spare email address is for. It doesn’t matter if it is flooded with junk mail.

There is quite a range of tasks here and payout can go up to as much as $30 per task.

And some of these offers ask you to give you credit card details, I would steer clear of those, email address is fine. So look for tasks that say ‘no cc’.

Cash Crate

Find it here:

This website is a place where you can try new products for free.

You get $1 for signing up and can earn money, sometimes up to $30 for taking surveys watching videos, surfing the web and loads more. It’s a nice site to use and in my experience has a lot of tasks readily available.

Payment is of course in cash. Make sure when you are taking any tasks, ie watching video that you do actually watch it. If you click off the page or can’t answer the question at the end then you don’t qualify. This has happened to me. It’s quite frustrating! (I get distracted easily and was trying to do something else at the same time!)

I have removed this one as my recommendation but I wanted to still keep it in here, so that people know NOT to join. See my review, now updated, about this business.

Opinion outpost

Find it here:

Opinion Outpost is all about surveys.

If you want to make money online, I suggest only using this option as part of a mix with some of the others above. The reason is that there are not always surveys available to complete and sometimes you can waste time trying to qualify for them before you actually can earn any money.. You want to be able to dip in and out of this when surveys that are applicable you become available.

Doing survey after survey can get dull, so mixing this up with some of the other tasks above means that you can have more variety

I have written a review of Opinion Outpost here if you want to read more.

What sort of money can you make this way?

Well of course that depends on two things. How much time you have to give to it, and what tasks are available. This is why I have suggested using a few sites together so that you get the best of all of them.

It is possible to earn a decent amount, around $200-400 a month with these types of websites. As long as you have the patience for it and are happy with that level of income.

But what if you want more?

This is a great idea to fill a gap I think but it will never become a passive income. You will always have to be there clicking away, and the hours you need to do this will never change. And lets be honest there is quite a chance that after a few months the thought of doing this day in and day out will be exhausting and lets face it dull dull dull.

So if you are looking for something to fill a gap, then perfect.

if you want more. If you want something that stimulates your mind, a business of your own, that eventually will become a passive income and earn you way more than doing it this way, then I suggest you take a look at my number 1 home business idea which will teach you exactly how to build your own online business from scratch and grow and grow to be something really worthwhile.

If you have any comments on the ideas in this article, I would love to hear them. Have you tried them before and what did you think? Anything else to add to the mix of websites that are good for earning money?

Very informative and well said. I did have one question about these different websites, how do you get paid? Do you have to set up a Pay Pal account, do they send you a paper check, just how does it work? I know a lot of them don’t pay much money and that turned me off before and I never followed up. Just logging onto their website takes time and not worth the .03 or .04 cents they want to pay. I would never sign on to a site that requires me to pay them for the work that I do. You can attest to that with that one website you noted where she was rude and kept your money. No way would I ever join a program where I didn’t have complete control over cancelling or continuing. You pointed out some of the pitfalls and also recommended a good one in Wealthy Affiliate.

Yes all the ones that I have recommended pay via PayPal. I only recommended them because of this, as I don’t want rewards to amazon etc, and I don’t believe many other people do. Well i guess they must do otherwise they would stop it, but I think hard cash is much more valuable!

I hope that answers your question. Thanks for your comments.

I am glad to find this list. I am a stay at home mom and would love to make a few extra bucks. To make $200+ month at it, how much time realistically would you need to spend per day? I am thinking that seem obtainable but I have heard of some make money things that pay pennies haha. No ones got time for that! Thank you for the recommendations! Bookmarking!

    • Ruth says:

Happy to help Heather. Its hard to say how much time, it really depends on the availability of the tasks. As I have said its not the most cost to time effective way of making money, but its very easy to get into. The best thing you can do is give it a try for a couple of weeks and see what you can earn. I would love to see how it works for you.. so let me know if you can?

Great list! Swagbucks is one I really like. It doesn’t take much effort to make a decent amount. I use the gift cards to get my groceries and Starbucks since I like to work on my laptop there.
I’ve tried inboxdollars and it was too much effort to make anything.

    Glad to read your post.
Good to know there are little tasks someone can do online to make money.
But when I’m going to spend my time online to be paid for it then l want to earn real money, surveys or posting in social media pay jusrt cents according to what l have read on other blogs.
The surveys are also hard to qualify for, l live in Switzerland so there are not always alot of surveys available for this part of the world, most surveys are for USA.
But as you say, if one wants to make more than pocket change, they should do something more which is much better.
Thanks so much for the info

    • Ruth says:

Thanks for your comments Roamy. You are right. it’s a way to earn a little extra but to be honest, its not a long term sustainable business because, as you say, the work isn’t always consistent, which is why I recommended having a few sites on your radar. And you will never change the world with this kind of earning!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments.
